Johnny, an avid car enthusiast, trusted us with the interior of his beautifully restored black 1949 Ford Custom—the very last Ford personally influenced by Henry Ford before his passing. This model holds a special place in history, recognized as the postwar car that helped save the Ford Motor Company with its innovative design and mass popularity.
A Unique Collaboration with Dream Wheels
This project was more than just a job; it was a collaboration with Dream Wheels on Eglinton as part of our sponsorship for this year’s street fest. As advocates for classic and right-hand drive vehicles, supporting events that bring auto culture to our community is at the heart of what we do.
Custom Craftsmanship, Tailored Choices
Johnny wanted his Ford’s interior mats to reflect his passion for both originality and modern refinement. Working closely together, we used detailed measurements from a 3D scan of his car’s interior floor—carried out at our Markham workshop—to ensure a precise fit for every contour. For the final look, Johnny selected our Sport Series mats in black with black stitching, keeping things authentic and understated. He also chose to forgo top mats, staying true to the Ford’s original simplicity.
